An extremely rare Ludwig & Ludwig Professional Model snare drum from the Anniversary run of snares in 1936. Abalone Pearl was only offered for two years.. 1936 & 1936. This particular drum features direct tapped lugs which was done in 1936 for the celebration of Ludwig's Anniversary.

Ludwig 1920s Floral DeLuxe B. Beauty : 5x14

Another example of a beautiful classic Ludwig Black Beauty snare from the 1920s. This particular drum features the 12-point floral engraving and 10 lugs. All original, the hardware maintains strong gold plating while the shell is in great condition as well.

Ludwig Standard 1920s "Peacock Pearl" : 5x14

Offered starting in 1928 and continuing into the 30s, peacock pearl is a very collectible finish. This particular drum still has the entire heater assembly still installed inside of the shell. These were used to heat the calf hide, causing it to contract and stay in tune.

This is one of the rarest drums in the collection. This drum was found in Barrett Deems' collection (best known with Louis Armstrong). The drum is signed from Clyde Stubblefield (James Brown). Excellent condition. All original.

Here is an incredible Ludwig Super Classic in the (arguably) rarest finish of this era.. Pink Oyster Pearl. Phenomenal condition.

This is just about as clean as they come! Acquired from the original owner's nephew, this drum has absolutely no fading, the interior is untouched, and all of the chrome is nearly picture perfect!

This is a true time capsule. Everything on this drum is 100% original including the calf heads. 1951 catalog introduced a like of knob tension drums which is arguably the beginning of the end for the Leedy & Ludwig drum company.
